Tähän ei ole selvää vastausta, mutta nide ei mene normaalisti lainaan, jos:

  1. matriisissa aineistotyypin ja kaikkien asiakasryhmien väliset määritykset estävät lainaamiset (lainakelpoisuus on siis asiakasryhmä/ aineistotyyppikohtaista)
  2. Nide on määritelty Course Reserve-käyttöön (jonka sisällä voi olla lainausta)
  3. Nide ei ole tilassa "available" (esim. vasta tilattu, lainassa, kadonnut jne)

Fennican tapauksessa tuossa voisi käyttää ITEM.CREATE_DATE:a, koska aineiston "hankinta" on ollut viime vuosina VASARAssa. Muutoin niteen ko. päivän voi kaivaa hankinnankin kautta, jos niin halutaan: liikkeelle pääsee LINE_ITEM_COPY_STATUS.ITEM_ID:stä
