Osana kirjastojen kuvailuympäristön taustajärjestelmän uudistamiseen liittyvää esiselvitystyötä järjestämme järjestelmäesittelyjä ja workshoppeja kirjastojen kanssa. Tilaisuuksien tarkoituksena on tutustua tarjolla olevien järjestelmien mahdollisuuksiin ja hahmotella kuvailuympäristön tulevaisuuden tarpeiden toteutumista tietojärjestelmien keinoin.
Tässä tilaisuudessa tutustutaan FOLIO-järjestelmien mahdollisuuksiin.Tilaisuus on englanninkielinen.
FOLIO on uusi avoimen lähdekoodin järjestelmäratkaisu, joka on vielä kehitteillä. Järjestelmän ensimmäisen version on tarkoitus valmistua vuoden 2018 alkupuoliskolla.
