Dublin Core is an international metadata standard for describing networked resources. Dublin Core contains a simple yet effective element set for describing digital objects.
The National Library maintains the Finnish version of Dublin Core and provides instructions for using the format. The National Library promotes the use of Dublin Core in Finland.
