VASTAUS:
(1) There are odd a few datasets deposited in the institutional repository Doria, http://www.doria.fi.
(2) The following data resources lend themselves to e.g. TDM. We They are aware that they are special cases as far as repositories go but are included here to show the scope of the Library's role as a data producer and curator. Much . However, much of the digitised content has been produced and enriched in research projects and act therefore as repositories for output of those projects.(2) - Digi (http://digi.kansalliskirjasto.fi); - Doria (http://www.doria.fi);- Fragmenta membranea (http://fragmenta.kansalliskirjasto.fi); - Fenno-Ugrica (http://fennougrica.kansalliskirjasto.fi); and - the Classics Library (http://klassikkokirjasto.kansalliskirjasto.fi) contain digitised texts. The Fenno-Ugrica provides the text as ALTO XML files, too.
The following do not contain research output but the data may be used for research purposes:
(3) Finna http://www.finna.fi. There is an API (http://api.finna.fi) that provides a way to perform searches to the metadata provided by the organizations (Finnish libraries, archives and museums) participating in Finna.fi (with the exception of Helka libraries).
(4) Finto http://www.finto.fi https://api.finto.fi provides an open REST-style API to access Finto vocabulary data.
(5) The Research Libraries Statistics Database (https://yhteistilasto.lib.helsinki.fi) has been used for research purposes as well.
