1. Update schedule is found of KIWI -page Update schedule and progress tracking
2. Status report:
   1. Testing migration begun at HAMK Library on May 18th. Finna is not yet integrated on HAMK testing environment and there is not possible to handle Holding-records on interface although Holdings-records are found on database. Melinda is integrated in autumn.
      1. Testing is mostly concentrated on circulation on staff interface and self service stations. 
   2. KohaKK -testing environment is installed as well, login information has been sent to admin users of libraries. Finna API's are installed but Finna testing view is on it's way.

Discussion:

• Still waiting for Finna
• Circulation rules will be added.
• How we should inform about changes we make? — Koha 3 may not be useful for very detailed library-specific testing. 
• Let's be active in Slack channel #koha-asiantuntijat. We may add people as needed. 
• Next week would be good for creating XAMK, and possibly Kansallisarkisto. DIAK and Tritonia after the holidays. 
• Melinda replication related Koha update. Another bug reported today, let's try to fix that, too.  Date: TBD. National Library will notify ASAP. 

1. Findings
   1. Findings are reported on Update schedule and progress tracking -page
   2. Missing Koha-Suomi development:
      1. https://tiketti.koha-suomi.fi/issues/3559, When book is returned on self service station and there is a hold to another branch for that book, the item is put to transfer. When AllowItemsOnHoldCheckout -syspreff is set Allow, any borrower can check out the item with self service station despite of the hold. Item stays attached to hold and items stays in transfer -state. 
         1. Bug fix needed: The system should not allow item check out on self service station when item is attached to hold and item is in transfer -state (item is in BranchTransfers -table and .
            Discussion: Joonas has made a bug report. Did not go through, as it would have affected other libraries.
      2. https://tiketti.koha-suomi.fi/issues/856 When book is returned on self service station and there is a hold, pickup notice is sent right away to patron with hold. 
         1. Bug fix needed: The pickup notice should not be send until the book is returned again by staff. There is a syspreff for this feature in Koha-Suomi RequireSCCheckInBeforeNotifyingPickups.
            (The problem occurs e.g. when the library has self-service time; there will be no-one to process the book from the returned books forward)
            Discussion: Joonas: What is the best way to do this? The present Koha-Suomi solution is not ideal. 
      3. Circulation rules
         1. In Koha-Suomi version there is possible to set up different rules according to library (branch), item type, patron category, shelving location and ccode. In community version there is not possible to use shelving location and ccode for setting up different rules. 
            1. There are rules defined by ccode or shelving location in following libraries: Library of Statistics, 3 AMK and National Library. These rules are documented here: https://www.kiwi.fi/display/KK/Issuing+rules+defined+by+ccode+or+shelving+location
         2. Development needed: It has been decided that we continue to develop new definition possibilities to circulation rule despite of that it might force us to keep forked version of Koha. Possibilities to give up special rules will be discussed again after update, if not possible to get changes to community master.
            Discussion: 
            Andrii: Own branch has been developed, and the test server will be updated 5.6.
      4. Holds to pull -list
         1. In Koha Suomi there is a special version of Holds to pull -list. There is Holds to pull -list in community version. How ever it is lacking important fields like edition. More information of Holds to pull -list from here Holds to pull -list.
         2. Suggestion: Use community version holds pull list and try to find a way to add edition information (MARC field 250a) to the list
            Discussion:
            Minna: Edition information is the crucial data missing from the holds pull list. Must be looked into. Need to discuss if edition data is really the only one missing. Please test this feature. 
            Joonas: Let's try to make a change in the community version. That failing, we might make a plugin. 
            Minna: Koha-Suomi has lots of holds, and a long list may cause a performance issue. That's why they have done it through cron jobs. In our case, the numbers are smaller, and a real time solution would be good.
      5. Anonymized hold identifier (Other name -field)
         1. In Koha Suomi version there is possible to create anonymized code to patron Other name -field. Other name -field is available in community version, and you are able to print other name -field to hold slip,  but creating anonymized value to that field is not in community version.
            Discussion: 
            Minna: Other Name cannot be filled automatically. It does not change from transaction to transaction. It is created when a new patron is created. 
            Andrii: Needs assistance.
            Joonas: Could be done thru JavaScrip. There is a way to add custom JavaScript code. A plugin would work, too. 
   3. Other development needed
      1. Holds
         1. Enable making holds on a bibliographic record when there are items available in the library but these items are not eligible for holds.  (Read the bug report for thorough explanation). https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24683.
         2. Bug fix needed
            Discussion: 
            Andrii is testing a fix. Will push it in a couple of weeks. Others may help in testing. 
   4. Under testing if existing functionality is enough in community version
      1. Component part -functionalities

         Minna: Best to wait for Finna so that we see the real results. 
         
      2. Holds available for pickup list / List of holds where pickup is expired
         Discussion: 
         Minna Terminology must be checked. There are three different lists: (1) Holds queue list; (2) list of holds waiting for pickup, waitingReserves.pl; 
      3. Label printing
         Discussion:
         Joonas: Now one could install Bywater plugin. Johanna: would like to test it.
         Download from ByWater. Then General settings → Plugins → Upload Plugin → 
   5. Log of reading patron personal information. This happens in Koha-Suomi but not in the Community Version. 
      
      1. GDPR related needs
         Discussion: This only discussed today. Seems important. 
2. Tuudo mobile app -integration
   • Tuudo has promised integration be ready for autumn. Any other news of Tuudo.
     Discussion: Mia: Tuudo has promised to investigate & test on the test server.  They could copy the REST API code, make the changes and upload back.

• "Universal borrowing" -feature
  • we are focusing currently on version update and it has been decided that this group will not evaluate other functionalities until year 2021. Any change requests to this decision must be taken to steering group.
  • Esa-Pekka promised to ask about "universal borrowing" -feature plans. Some public library has got funding for similar feature. Hope to hear about it next week.
  • Community Version has ILL features, it'd be good to look into it, first though documentation perhaps. NRL will read the manual.
